Sid Davis, a radio reporter who gave live reports to the country after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, has died at 97. Davis was one of three reporters summoned by the White House to witness the swearing-in of Lyndon B. Johnson as president with a stunned Jackie Kennedy at his side.
